Hi everyone! 

We hope you have enjoyed the lovely weather this week and have spent lots of time outside. We have been learning about Minibeasts this week. We have looked at the different features of Minibeasts and how each one is different. We have looked at the special skills that Minibeasts have and how they help the environment. Each child then had the opportunity to design their own Minibeast and we attempted to describe it through our writing. To do this we have talked about describing words and what words would make our Minibeasts sound interesting. Maybe you could go on a Minibeast hunt in your environment and make a list of what you could see. We have also focused on addition and subtraction and worked hard on being able to do this independently.  We have found some work for you to do at home and we hope you enjoy learning about Minibeasts as much as we have. Please remember to send us any pictures of the work you have completed.
