Wellbeing

The wellbeing of our school community is very important to us. We are currently working towards the reassessment of the Wellbeing Award for Schools (WAS). The results of the parent, staff and pupil surveys, which were completed at the end of the Autumn term, are helping us to move forward on our journey.

We have just purchased some blue benches so that we have calm down zones outside, like we have inside, which was a suggestion from our pupils and have also appointed some new Wellbeing Warriors.

We continue to provide support for pupils through ‘drop in and chat’ sessions, our pastoral support programme and dedicated class time for relaxation or mindfulness. Our PSHE scheme puts a greater focus on mental health and wellbeing. We will keep you updated with our progress through our termly newsletters.

If you require any more details, please contact Mrs Clarke (Wellbeing Lead) or Mrs John (Trust Wellbeing Coordinator).
